Work Experience

Studio Manager Manifold group, Shoreditch, London. Organising nine 2010 graduates from the Royal College of Art, transforming a railway arch under the East London line in to a multidisciplinary art & design studio and work place in the centre of a lively creative community.

 

Assisting Artist in the Creative Learning in Artists Studios (CLAS) program Spring 2011 placing glass and ceramics collective Manifold with Hackney Free and Parochial School in East London. Devising and running a number of workshops at the school over 10 weeks using materials and processes as inspiration and hosting visits to our studio.

 

Technical Assistant at the 6th floor Ceramic Studio, Ceramic Galleries V & A Museum, assisting in workshops, advising, firing and glazing final pieces.

 

Teaching Placement University of Brighton, Art & Design Faculty, Ceramics Department, Spring Term 2010.

 

Presenting student and guide at Cultural Quarter Educational Day as part of  Out ReachRCA,Giving a series of talks and demonstrations on my work and studio practice to school leavers of participating London schools.

 

Denby Potteries, Derbyshire Dales, working in the Design Team on a live surface pattern project "Ice"series, August-September 2009.

 

Project assistant to Out Reach RCA- professional development scheme and educational program. Six week placement in a North-East London college teaching drawing, observational and clay hand making skills to underprivileged children and those with behavioral problems, April 2009.
